About Our Farm
About the Facilities
Daiwa Fruit Park is an interactive tourist farm that opened in August 2021 in Rikuzentakata, Iwate. Surrounded by the rich nature of Sanriku, you can see, touch, and taste fruit in a unique farm experience.
Enjoy fruit with all your senses
We grow over 1,500 blueberry bushes across 30 varieties, and offer blueberry picking from June to August.
Picking fresh, sweet-and-tart blueberries yourself is a fun experience for both kids and adults.
Inside our greenhouse, you can explore more than 10 types of tropical fruits, including mangoes, bananas, and papayas.
Enjoy a guided tour and experience a tropical atmosphere right here in Iwate.
Take a break at the Cafe
At our cafe, you can enjoy smoothies, sundaes, and fluffy pancakes made with fresh fruit from the park. Don’t miss our seasonal menu items available only here.
Enjoy the Dog Run with Your Dog
We offer spacious dog run areas for both small and large dogs. Relax and enjoy your time together with your dog in an open, natural setting.

A place to learn through fruit
学びの場
- We aim to create a space where visitors can learn about different fruits through hands-on experiences and guided tours.
- Our blueberry farm covers about 5,000㎡ and continues to expand, offering a longer picking season from early summer to late summer. We also plan to grow a variety of fruits across different seasons, so visitors can enjoy fruit harvesting from June to November.
- In addition, we cultivate tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes, papayas, pineapples, dragon fruit, lychee, and avocado in our greenhouses.
A place to relax
- In addition to fruit picking, our shop offers specialty coffee, ice cream, gelato, smoothies, and more. You can also enjoy these items through our drive-through or relax in the outdoor pocket park.
- We also provide dog run areas for both small and large dogs, creating a space where visitors can spend time with their pets.
Eco-friendly facilities
- Our greenhouses use a long-burning wood stove fueled by biomass wood from local forests, helping reduce environmental impact.
