Here, you can enjoy a range of activities that let you discover and connect with fruit.

On the Fruit House tour, you can learn about colorful tropical fruits that are rarely seen growing in Japan.
We also offer seasonal fruit-picking experiences where you can taste fresh fruit straight from the tree.

About the Facilities

Growing a Variety of Fruits

Daiwa Fruit Park opened in 2021 in Rikuzentakata, Iwate.
The park covers about 13,756㎡ and features a blueberry orchard and one of the largest greenhouses in the prefecture.
We grow around 30 varieties of blueberries and more than 10 types of tropical fruits. Visitors can enjoy blueberry picking and the Fruit House tour.
You can also relax at our cafe with a drive-through, take a break at the pocket park, or enjoy our popular dog run.

Smart Farming Initiatives

The Tropical Fruit House is equipped with internet-connected sensors that allow staff to monitor the greenhouse environment in real time from their smartphones, including temperature, humidity, light levels, and CO₂ levels.
This system reduces the need for frequent manual checks while allowing all staff to stay informed about the greenhouse conditions.
